• Traditional Chinese painting involves essentially the same

techniques as Chinese calligraphy and is done with a brush

dipped in black or colored ink; oils are not used.

Chinese painting are: • 1 、 Gong-bi ( 工

筆 ), meaning "meticulous", uses highly detailed brushstrokes that delimit details very precisely.

• 2 、 Ink and wash painting, also loosely termed watercolour or brush painting, and also known as "literati painting"
