The Diptyque store on Greenwich Village’s Bleeker Street looks like an haute hippy’s living room. Bold patterns, colourful African-print table legs and tin ceilings give the space a sprightly and whimsical

character. This is the kind of shop Alice might stumble upon in perfume Wonderland. 位於格林威治村時尚區Bleeker Street之內的Diptyque，設計有如一間嬉皮士的客廳，格調明亮又奇特。

Fragonard’s Musée du Parfum has a lengthy history: Lesoufaché – a student of Charles Garnier, the architect of the Paris Opera House – built it in 1860. The museum’s interiors are decorated entirely with furniture and objects from this period, and a guided tour covers the history of perfume manufacturing

and packaging, followed by a stop at Fragonard’s boutique.Fragonard的Musée du Parfum由Lesoufaché（巴黎歌劇院的建築師Charles Garnier的學生）於1860年興建。

Senteurs d’Ailleurs is dedicated to products that exude the spirit of the Mediterranean. Architect Alexandre Samuel divided the shop into two sections: a dark, intimate space for perfumes, and a bright, light area for

Guerlain’s flagship store is a world of glittering glamour and magic. A spiral staircase leads from the Second Empire-style ground level to a Baroque-inspired hall lined with more than 350,000 gold tiles.

Conceived by French designer Andrée Putman, the maison houses the Imperial Fountain – an arrangement that refills bottles with Guerlain nectars.

tested and sold. Imbued with warm Tuscan hues, the palazzo is also home to a perfumer academy, an aromatic garden, a cafeteria and a boutique.
