THEPROJECT, KNOWN AS MIRRORS GEORGE TOWN,IS PART OF GEORGE TOWN FESTIVAL 2012.ERNEST ZACHAREVICS WALL PAINTINGS INGEORGE TOWN INCLUDE FIGUREDRAWINGS AND PORTRAITURES THATCELEBRATE THE EXUBERANCE OF LIFE INTHE INNER CITY. IT RANGED FROM THEPENSIVE LITTLE CHILDREN ON A BICYCLE,THE AWAITING TRISHAW PEDALLER ANDREACHING UP. 5. REACHING UP SHOWS A LITTLE BOY IN PLAIN SHIRT ANDPANTS, TIPPING HIS TOE ON A CHAIR AS HIGH AS HE CANTO REACH FOR THE HOLE. THE WINDOWS OF OLDCHINESE HOUSES WERE SMALL HIGH UP ON THE WALL.THE KID IN THE PAINTING SEEM TO BE CURIOUS OF WHATWAS HIDING INSIDE OF THE HOUSE, PROBABLY BECAUSEOF A STRONG SMELL OF FOOD COMING FROM THE HOUSE,TRIGGERING HIS SENSES. BUT BECAUSE HE WAS TOO TINYAND SHORT, IT WAS DIFFICULT FOR HIM TO EVEN REACHHIS HANDS ONTO THE EDGE OF THE HOLE. 6. NON VERBAL COMMUNICATION PASSIVE PERCEPTION INTERPRETIVE PERCEPTION VOCAL CUES: NON-WORD SOUNDS EMPATHIC LISTENING 7. THIS MURAL DEPICTS A LITTLE GIRL TAKING HER YOUNGERBROTHER ON A BICYCLE RIDE. THE JOY ON THEIR FACES ECHOESDOWN THE STREET, PROVIDING A RAY OF CHEER AND ADDINGCHARACTER TO ARMENIAN STREET. AS WITH SOME OF THEOTHER WORDS BY ZACHAREVIC, LITTLE CHILDREN ON A BICYCLECOMBINES MURAL PAINTING WITH REAL PROPS, IN THIS CASE, ANOLD BICYCLE, TO CREATE A THREE-DIMENSIONAL RENDITION.THE ARTIST WORDS FROM ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPHS. EVER SINCETHE MURAL WAS COMPLETED IT HAS DRAWN VISITORS ININCREASING NUMBERS TO STOP OVER AND TAKE SHOTS WITHTHEM. PEOPLE ARE COMING UP WITH CREATIVE POSES. 8. CONNOTATIVE MEANING NON-VERBAL MESSAGES PASSIVE PERCEPTION INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION SPACE 9. BUMIKU IS A INSTALLATION ARTWORK WITH 100% USE OFRECYCLE PLASTIC MATERIALS. UNTENSILS SUCH AS FORKS,SPOONS, CUPS AND OTHERS ARE BEING TRANSFORMEDINTO A FOREST INTO A FOREST OF FLORA AND FAUNA,THUS DEMATERIALIZING ITS FORMER USE AND MEANING.FROM WASTE TO BEAUTY, BUMIKU HOPE TO INSPIRECONSUMERS TO REDUCE.REUSE.RECYCLE 10. FIRST IMPRESSION SPACE SOCIAL DISTANCE COMMUNICATION SITUATIONS: RESPONSIVENESS EMPHASIZING 11. THIS TREE REPRESENTS LIFE. IT GROWS FROM A SPECTRUMOF PURE LIGHT INTO 7 RAINBOW COLOUR ROOTS. EACHCOLOUR REPRESENTS OUR LIVES EXPERIENCES, THE HEARTSHAPED ROOTS SYMBOLIZES LIVES GOOD AND BADEXPERIENCES WHICH ARE GODS BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE.THESE ROOTS OF EXPERIENCES COMBINE TO GROWBIGGER AND ROOT OUT TO FIND BEAUTY WITHIN THEUGLY THINGS IN LIFE. AS IT MATURES, THE TREE BEARFRUITS OF BRILLIANT IDEAS THAT WILL LIGHT UP THEDARKNESS IN OUR LIVES. 13.
