FIRST ATTEMPT AT MAGAZINE COVER

Using Photoshop, I was able to change the colour of the characters hair to a darker/black colour.

I downloaded the font `Universal-College-Draft` from dafont.com. I used this as it seemed a eye catching font to use especially for the target market.

For the background I downloaded the flower brush for Photoshop and created the pink background. I then imported it into In-design. The reason I chose a pink background was I wanted my magazine to appeal to teenage girls. As my trailer is aimed at teenagers (More likely females, as it’s a romance film) Also the colour suits the pose of the character.

I downloaded a paint splat of Google for Photoshop to make a text bubble. This makes the story included in the bubble stand out.

AUDIENCE FEEDBACKCOMMENTS FROM MY TARGET MARKET:

“Don’t like the title design. Don't feel it fits in with the look of the magazine

The barcode needs to reversed (180’)

The `10 hottest hunks` circle needs to be more transparent, as it takes the focus away from the image.

Vanessa could be linked with celebrities, to create more interest in the interview.

IMPROVEMENTS THAT COULD BE MADE TO THE MAGAZINE COVER. After listening to the audience feedback I have decided to

make the following chances to my magazine:

I have decided that the characters need to hold something in her hand, especially with her pose.

Only a small thing, but reverse the barcode around to have it the correct way

Remove the `10 hottest hunks` story as the target market don’t believe it fits in with the magazine.
