The subject matter of this photo is of a British landscape in the countryside.. The shutter speed on this photo is quite slow as you can see the movement from the purple flowers, they look all blurred, instead of still and captured by the camera. This photo has been taken by a digital camera in colour, in editing this photo would have had the contrast altered to make it increased, also the vibrancy and the saturation has been increased, because the weather is very over-cast and will wash the colours out the photo to increase the saturation makes the colours stand out. The depth of field in this photo is large, because everything in the photo is in sharp focus, nothing has been made blurry. The vantage point of this photo is that it has been taken from a tri-pod, so it has been taken from about the height of the plants, if not a bit above, this perspective so everything fits into the photo. This photo does have a lot of depth to it, because it is a landscape so the photo goes as deep as far as your eye can see.
