Mise-en-scene
Scene 1. The first scene will be a coin toss. It will be a close-up shot which is focused on the hand of the male character. The location will be in a church and the shot will be focused near a glass panel window so that a focus pull can be put on the coin. Slow motion will show the coin falling to the floor and emphasises will be put on the noise of the coin dropping. When the coin is flat on the floor, it will land tails up and the shot will be held for around 3 seconds on the coin. The footage will then transition to the female in heels walking away down the isle of the church. The heels will be red and the noise will be the only thing heard there will be no backing music present at this point. This will symbolise the instability of the relationship and how she is choosing to walk away.
