As a part of researching magazines we had to analyze some photos, so we all got into groups and took pictures of each other doing poses so that could we could get ideas of what our images in our magazine would be.

I analyzed four of them and this is what I thought of them:

This image is very good even thought there is a lot of space around the model it would be perfect for a front cover as there is enough room for a masthead at the top, cover lines at the side and a puff at the bottom. The problem is that the main sell lines would possibly have to slight go over the middle but this often happens anyway. From analyzing examples I've looked at.

This image is ok but there is an error as the light is shining on the lens. Apart from that the quality is fine. This image would be a bit hard to use for a front cover. But would be good on a double page spread and possibly a contents.

This image is the best out of the four as the detail of the model can be seen the only error is that the left half of the photo has shadow reflecting on to it making one side darker than the other. But in all still, very good this would suite a double page spread as the picture is to wide for a front cover. It could possibly be used a main contents page article picture.

This photo is ok apart from some slight armature mistakes such as shadow reflection from the model and at the top of the shooting screen. Apart from that its would be ok and would be possibly used on a contents page but I think it suites as another partner photo for a double page spread.
