2. Front Cover Secondary Images Alex Gaskarth is the lead
singer of All Time Low, this featured article will have an image of
their set with a banner behind them with their logo and band name.
This helps the reader to see who they are as the image shows them
performing. I took it from the audience which helps the reader to
relate to the magazine because they will also be the ones in the
audience so it creates a more personal connection. These images
will be two concert tickets, both the image on the left, they will
be layered to advertise the opportunity of winning them. I will
photoshop the white background from behind the ticket so that they
are transparent, this will make them stand out on the page. These
two image will be of Young Guns live set. The two I have chosen
clearly have their band name on a screen behind them so it is
recognisable also they are different from each other; one has blue
lighting while the other has red/pink lighting. This shows
progression in the performance and variation in colour on the page.
Both are taken from the audience to help the reader to relate to
the band because they would also be in the audience so can relate
to the experience. Other images I took were too bright or unfocused
so I couldnt use them (examples shown below). I have chosen two
in-focus images. This image is of a star avoiding the cameras of
the paparazzi, he is holding his hand up and looking away as he
walks through a crowd, this makes the reader curious and want to
find out more, also the supporting question hooks the reader.
