What makes Sri Lankan Culture Unique?
Sri Lanka is one of the most beautiful and culturally rich country. It is known for its diversity
and customs. Sri Lankan culture has diverse customs and rites that are 2000 years old and are
handed over in generation to generation. The most vital feature of this beautiful nation is its
lively festivals, these events and festivals are major attractions among travelers. Religion and
belief play an imperative part in beading the Sri Lankan ethos and ethnicities.
Sri Lankan culture is easily replicated in food, dance, sculptores, art and architecture of this
country. The life of Sri Lankan people is very simple and filled with contentment and happiness.
According to a few people, it has more traditional values, influenced by the major religions in the
nation like Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and more. The simple lifestyle of this country is an
important reason that people appreciate simple things there such as nature, food and traditional
