A Brief About Brake Problems

Brake problems are very annoying and can lead

to fatal accidents sometimes…

Vehicle pulling

Spongy brake pedal

Dash-light warning

Low brake fluid :-

If your vehicle shows low brake fluid symptom---it will lead to worn disc brake pads or leak in brake system.

Low Brake pedal

This problem happens due to sticking rear drum brakes and can

be solved by adjusting and restoring them in early stage..

Due to low fluid level or improper fluid delivery to master cylinder--- air makes its way to brake pedal, that causes the soft

brake pedal.

You should bleed the brakes as directed in the

vehicles owner’s manual to improve the brake

performance..

This problem happens due to worn out master cylinder or

leaks in hydraulic system and it can be dangerous if not

fixed in time..

This problem happens due to the warped brake rotor or worn out wheel bearings..

You should clean and repack them with grease

to resolve the issue..

This problem can be solved by different ways like :-

Resurfacing or replacing the rotors

Installing new pads and pad shims or

By applying brake grease etc..

But if any pad mounting parts are missing, then make sure to replace it at the time of servicing..

The brake grabbing problem happens due to the continuous build up of oil, grease and brake fluid in the brake linings.

You should check any contamination around the brake

lining and if found replace the linings to resolve the issue..

Brake dragging :-

Brake dragging always increase the fuel consumption and constant dragging lead to worn

out brake or improper braking.

This problem can caused by many different reasons like :- weak or broken retracting springs

broken drum brakes corroded disc brake caliper piston

Sticky or frozen emergency brake cable etc..

These issues need to be fixed as soon as checked or

showed any early sign of it..

The brake pulling to one side always caused by problematic

front brake. But except it, there are some other issues which

can cause this problem.

Some other causes like :- Mismatch of friction between side and front

brakes Difference in rotor thickness etc..
