Description of the Location: Playground/school entrance

Purpose: To open our sequence and establish the location it’s set in.

List three points that make this location suitable for the purpose: Large area for optimum wide shots, reveals the school environment, so audience is aware of location, and appropriate view for extreme long shots.

List two points that might make this location unsuitable for your purpose: May have children in our way when filming, contrast in colours in each half may distract viewers from main focal point in the shot (actors).

If you use this location what will you have to be aware of at all times? Potential traffic driving into school car park, but this is unlikely due to the time we are filming at.
