DESCRIPTION
The biggest news for the 2007 model year of Ford Mustangs was the return of the Shelby. In 2007, Ford added two Shelby models to the Mustang lineup: the Shelby GT and the Shelby GT500. Each of these new Shelbys had unique performance V8 engines giving them much more power. Also in 2007, Ford introduced a new California Special appearance package available for all GT Premium models. Other Mustang parts received small improvements, but most parts were left unchanged. For 2007, Mustang sales dipped slightly, totally 134,626 sales for the year.
