Dealers • Car dealers provide more reliable cars than private sellers and you

often get a free warranty

• However this does mean that you end up paying more than you

would of done buying from a private seller

• The best reviewed dealers for this year have been Lexus, Honda

and Porsche

Car Supermarkets

• Car supermarkets have grown massively in the last 10 years due to their attractive prices on nearly-new, low-mileage models

• They have 1000s of models on stock to choose from on massive sites

• Some reputable car supermarkets are CarWorld, Stockport and Hendy Car Supermarket

Private sellers • This is normally the cheapest option of the three as the

sellers usually want to get rid of their car quickly

• However there is a chance of picking up a stolen or faulty car and as long as the seller accurately described the car then there isn’t much you can do

• Autotrader and eBay are good for buying used cars from private sellers
