I spend most of my writing and reading time focusing on how to improve. This slide set does this as well, but

by listing behaviors and patterns that hinder or in many cases stop improvement. This list is for us to

look at and see what we recognize in ourselves. If we can see our faults, we can begin efforts to overcome

them, to improve. Please resist the temptation to shift the focus from yourself. The rewards will be worth it. We do not need to correct all findings at once, but we can start somewhere. May reviewing this list help you

in your improvement process.-Tom Curtis

Prefer potential to results

Seek to seem, rather than to be

Believe your own hype

Practice self justification

Never be wrong

Avoid responsibility

Learn but never apply

Focus on others when finding fault, and you will back door

yourself exalt.

Require customization in everything

Always put off to tomorrow

Avoid figurative mirrors

Be quick to offense

Goals are for others, but not for me, I would rather

have my options free.

Build protection around your ego

Accept status quo in all you do

Claim uniqueness only when needing an excuse

Improvement is for another day, today is but to laugh

and play.
