Mission

A mission statement defines what an organization is why it existsits reason for being.

According to Bart (1997), the mission statement consists of 3 essential components:

1) Key market – who is your target client/customer?

2) Contribution – what product or service do you provide to that client?

3) Distinction – what makes your product or service unique, so that the client would choose you?

going to achieve. Measurable - Quantify your objectives. Achievable - Are you attempting too

much? Realistic - Do you have the resources to

make the objective happen (men, money, machines, materials, minutes)?

Timed - State when you will achieve the objective
