Providing access to professional fundraising skills, especially targeting youth and women previously excluded from accessing professional fundraising skills

THE NEED FOR THE SERVICE

The need has been clearly identified in the NGO sector and within the Sector Educator & Training Authorities (Setas). It has been identified as a scarce skill – This means that funds are available from the NSF to service providers meeting the need

It is estimated that there are over 100 000 fund-seeking organisations in South Africa- to date no service provider has been accredited to offer the qualification

Funds can be leveraged via the National Skills Fund to pay for learnerships and training workshops

Individuals will be required to pay fees

Discounted training and scholarships can be offered to indigent learners

The school will generate a profit that becomes an income stream for CCWC/CCSA
