Engaging Emerging Generations: Demographically Changed and Generationally Redefined

DESCRIPTION

To effectively engage with the emerging generations we need to understand the shaping influences in the world they are growing up in. As Generation Y increasingly fill our workplaces, Gen Z are today's students and Generation Alpha are filling our preschools. We are living in times of unprecedented change which is shaping the worldview of these emerging generations. A decade ago if we talked about tweets, status updates, androids and cloud computing, people would have wondered what we were talking about! In Australia, we are not only experiencing an ageing population, but also a baby boom, with record births, exceeding 300,000 being reached in 2012.
