Q uesto catalogo raccoglie le descrizioni dei 20 prodotti o servizi nel campo dell’inno-vazione ecosostenibile che hanno partecipato al “Green Entrepreneurship Excellence Award”, rivolto alle piccole e medie imprese pugliesi e indetto dall’ARTI – Agenzia

Regionale per la Tecnologia e l’Innovazione della Puglia – nell’ambito del progetto Green Business Innovation.

L’obiettivo è fornire visibilità a tali iniziative d’innovazione green realizzate in Puglia, segnalan-dole in Grecia e nel resto del territorio regionale e, nello stesso tempo, dimostrare con esempi concreti i vantaggi della green economy.

La Puglia, una delle prime regioni in Europa per produzione di energia da fonti rinnovabili, si configura come fucina di buone pratiche green, di cui tale raccolta fornisce un parziale ma interessante spaccato.

Questa pubblicazione è uno dei risultati del progetto Green Business Innovation, che mira a sviluppare l’imprenditorialità innovativa, promuovendo la consapevolezza, la ricerca e l’ado-zione di soluzioni innovative in direzione green.

Cofinanziato dall’Unione Europea – Fondo per lo Sviluppo Regionale (FESR) all’interno del Programma di Cooperazione Territoriale Europea Grecia-Italia 2007-2013 e da fondi nazionali di Grecia e Italia, Green Business Innovation punta inoltre al rafforzamento della cooperazione tra istituzioni e imprese dei due Paesi e al trasferimento tecnologico tra le aree transfrontaliere, inteso come scambio di soluzioni e tecnologie a vantaggio della risoluzione di problemi co-muni. Partner del progetto sono: Hellenic Management Association (EEDE), capofila; Univer-sità di Patrasso, Dipartimento di Ingegneria meccanica e aeronautica; Tecnopolis Parco Scien-tifico e Tecnologico; ARTI – Agenzia Regionale per la Tecnologia e l’Innovazione della Puglia.

In linea con le politiche nazionali ed europee, l’ARTI concorre alla crescita sostenibile della Puglia, promuovendo una rete di relazioni e di scambi tra i soggetti coinvolti nella creazione e nell’utilizzo di nuove conoscenze e nuove tecnologie, stimolando e incoraggiando compor-tamenti innovativi nella regione.

Per il progetto Green Business Innovation, l’Agenzia ha fornito il proprio contributo nella re-alizzazione di tutte le azioni previste, occupandosi in particolare dell’organizzazione di due eventi (Open Day “Innovazione Imprenditoriale Verde” e Business meeting “Quali opportunità per le PMI”), della redazione dell’analisi dello stato dell’arte in Italia e Grecia “Green Business Innovation in the cross-border area”, dell’istituzione del Green Entrepreneurship Excellence Award, dell’organizzazione di 3 moduli seminariali che hanno coinvolto oltre 70 partecipanti e della realizzazione di 14 consulenze aziendali in materia di eco-innovazione, eco-design e green packaging.

T his catalogue includes short descriptions of 20 eco-innovative products/services pro-posals applied for “Green Entrepreneurship Excellence Award”. This Award, targeted for small and medium enterprises, has been issued by ARTI – Regional Agency for Tech-

nology and Innovation of Apulia Region as partner of “Green Business Innovation” project.

The goal is to provide visibility to these innovative green entrepreneurships raised in Apulia, to point them out in Greece and in the rest of the regional territory and to demonstrate with real cases the benefits of the green economy at the same time.

Apulia, one of the first regions in Europe for energy production from renewable sources, is a hive of activities and green best practices and this booklet shows a partial but interesting insight.

This publication is one of the results of the Green Business Innovation project, devoted to develop innovative entrepreneurship, promoting awareness, research and the adoption of innovative solutions towards green economy.

Green Business Innovation is funded by European Union – Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the European Territorial Cooperation Programme Greece-Italy 2007-2013 and by national funds of Greece and Italy. The project also aims to strengthen cooperation be-tween institutions and enterprises in the two countries and to foster technology transfer be-tween cross-border areas, in order to share solutions and technologies for common problems. The project partners are: Hellenic Management Association (HME), leader partner; University of Patras, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics; TECNOPOLIS Science and Technology Park; ARTI – Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation of Apulia Region.

ARTI contributes to a sustainable development of Apulia according to national and European policies, by promoting a network of relationships and exchange of know-how and new tech-nologies among participants and by stimulating and encouraging innovative behaviours in the Region.

For the Green Business Innovation project, the Agency has provided support in the imple-mentation of all actions foreseen, specifically focusing on the organization of two events (Open Day “Green Business Innovation” and Business meeting “What opportunities for SMEs”), the drafting of the state of the art in Italy and Greece “Green Business Innovation in the cross-border area”, the announcement of the Green Entrepreneurship Excellence Award, the organization of 3 seminars involving over 70 participants and the implementation of 14 busi-ness consultancy services on eco-innovation, eco-design and green packaging.

στις Μικρές και Μεσαίες Επιχειρήσεις της Απούλιας και διοργανώθηκεαπό την ARTI – Περιφε-ρειακή Υπηρεσία για την Τεχνολογία και την Καινοτομία της Απουλιας, ως εταίρος του έργου Green Business Innovation

Ο σκοπός είναι να προβάλει αυτές τις καινοτόμες πράσινες επιχειρηματικότητες που αναπτύ-χθηκαν στην Απουλία, υποδεικνύοντας τους στην Ελλάδα και στην υπόλοιπη περιφερεια και, ταυτόχρονα, να αποδείξει με συγκεκριμένα παραδείγματα τα οφέλη της πράσινης οικονομίας.

H Πούλια, μια από τις πρώτες περιοχές στην Ευρώπη για την παραγωγή ενέργειας από ανανε-ώσιμες πηγές, αναδεικνύεται σαν μια κυψέλη δραστηριοτήτων και πράσινων βέλτιστων πρα-κτικών και αυτό το φυλλάδιο παρέχει μια μερική αλλά ενδιαφέρουσα εικόνα.

Η δημοσίευση αυτή είναι ένα από τα αποτελέσματα του έργου Green Business Innovation, το οποίο στοχεύει στην ανάπτυξη της καινοτόμου επιχειρηματικότητας, προωθόντας την ευαι-σθητοποίηση, την έρευνα και την υιοθέτηση καινοτόμων πράσινων λύσεων.

Το έργο Green Business Innovation χρηµατοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος Ευρωπαϊκής Εδαφικής Συνεργασίας Ελλάδα-Ιταλία 2007-2013 Ταμείο Πε-ριφερειακής Ανάπτυξης και από εθνικούς πόρους Ελλάδας και Ιταλίας. Στοχεύει στην ενίσχυση της συνεργασίας μεταξύ των θεσμικών οργάνων και των επιχειρήσεων των δύο χωρών και τη μεταφορά τεχνολογίας μεταξύ των διασυνοριακών περιοχών, µέσω ανταλλαγής λύσεων και τεχνολογιών για την επίλυση των κοινών προβλημάτων. Οι εταίροι του έργου είναι: Ελληνική Εταιρία Διοικήσεως Επιχειρήσεων (ΕΕΔΕ), επικεφαλής εταίρος, Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών- Τμήμα Μηχανολόγων και Αεροναυπηγών Μηχανικών, ΤECNOPOLIS Επιστημονικό και Τεχνολογικό Πάρκο, ARTI – Περιφερειακή Υπηρεσία για την Τεχνολογία και την Καινοτομία της Απουλίας.

Η ARTI συμβάλλει στην αειφόρο ανάπτυξη της Απουλίας σύμφωνα με τις εθνικές και ευρω-παϊκές πολιτικές, προωθώντας ένα δίκτυο σχέσεων και ανταλλαγών μεταξύ των φορέων που εμπλέκονται στη δημιουργία και τη χρήση των νέων γνώσεων και των νέων τεχνολογιών, την τόνωση και την ενθάρρυνση της καινοτόμου συμπεριφοράς στην περιοχή.

Για την ανάπτυξη του έργου Green Business Innovation, ο Οργανισμός βοήθησε στην υλοποί-ηση όλων των προβλεπόµενων δράσεων, και ειδικά πραγματοποίησε την οργάνωση δύο εκ-δηλώσεων (Open Day «Green Business Innovation» και την επιχειρηματική συνάντηση «Ποιές ευκαιρίες για τις ΜΜΕ;»), την σύνταξη της έρευνας σχετικά με την παρούσα κατάσταση στην Ιταλία και την Ελλάδα της «Πράσινης Επιχειρηματικότητας στην διασυνοριακή περιοχή», την καθιέρωση του Βραβείου Αριστείας Πράσινης Καινοτόμου Επιχειρηματικότητας, την οργάνω-ση 3 σεμιναρίων όπου μετείχαν πάνω από 70 συμμετέχοντες και την παροχή 14 επιχειρηµα-τικών συµβουλών στον τομέα της οικολογικής καινοτομίας, τον οικολογικό σχεδιασμό και την πράσινη συσκευασία.

MOTORSAILER

IT Imbarcazione da diporto delle dimensioni di 10x3 m interamente realiz-zata in acciaio inox, con albero abbattibile privo di deriva, inaffondabile e a impatto zero. Motorsailer, infatti, usa quattro motori elettrici fuoribordo alimentati da fonte fotovoltaica ed eolica ed è dotato di un generatore idraulico per la ricarica delle batterie. L’imbarcazione è adatta a navigare su fiumi o in acque poco profonde e può passare sotto ponti bassi. La zavorra è costituita dalle batterie.

EN A 10x3m yacht entirely made of stainless steel, with a folding mast drift-free. It is unsinkable and zero impact. Motorsailer uses four outboard electric engines powered by photovoltaic and wind systems and is equipped with a hydraulic generator for charging the batteries. The boat is fit to sail on rivers or in shallow water and can pass under low bridges. Batteries work as ballast too.

EL Σκάφος αναψυχής 10mx3m κατασκευασμένο εξ ολοκλήρου από ανοξεί-δωτο ατσάλι, με πτυσσόμενο ιστίο χωρις καρίνα, αβύθιστο και μηδενικές επιπτώσεις. Motorsailer, χρησιμοποιεί τέσσερις εξωλέμβιους ηλεκτροκι-νητήρες τροφοδοτούμενοι από φωτοβολταϊκή και αιολική πηγή ενέρ-γειας. Είναι εξοπλισμένο με υδραυλική γεννήτρια για τη φόρτιση των μπαταριών. Το σκάφος είναι κατάλληλο για πλεύση σε ποτάμια ή σε ρηχά νερά και μπορεί να περάσει κάτω από χαμηλές γέφυρες. Οι μπαταρίες λειτουργούν επίσης σαν έρμα.

IT Polifemo è una panca per esterni realizzata in gomma da recupero di pneumatici esausti. Morbida, antitrauma, resistente agli agenti atmosfe-rici, Polifemo è riciclata e totalmente riciclabile. Il prodotto è realizzato con la collaborazione dei maestri cartapestai, in grado di trasformare un rifiuto, riprodotto in serie, in opera d’arte.

EN Polifemo is an outdoor bench made of recused rubber from exhausted tyres. Soft, shockproof, weather-resistant, Polifemo is recycled and ful-ly recyclable. The product is realized together with Papier-mâché crafts workers able to transform a waste into an art work.

EL «Polifemo» είναι ένα υπαίθριο παγκάκι κατασκευασμένο από μεταχειρι-σμένα ελαστικά: μαλακό, αντικραδασμικό, ανθεκτικό στις καιρικές συν-θήκες, «Polifemo» είναι ανακυκλωμένo και πλήρως ανακυκλώσιμο. Tο προϊόν κατασκευάζεται μαζί με τεχνίτες πεπιεσμένου χαρτιού ικανοί να μετατρέψουν ένα απόβλητο σε έργο τέχνης.

IT Solarino è un robot totalmente elettrico e radio controllato sviluppato per la pulizia e la gestione delle spiagge. Alimentato con batterie al gel e con l’ausilio di un pannello fotovoltaico, Solarino non inquina ed è silen-zioso. Ha una capacità di trazione fino a 350 Kg, è dotato di un pulsante di emergenza per arrestare le operazioni e di sensori anti-collisione sonar. Ogni operazione è implementata direttamente tramite radiocomando fino ad una distanza di 150 mt.

EN Solarino is a totally electric and radio-controlled robot developed for the cleaning and management of the beaches. Powered with gel batteries and with the aid of a photovoltaic panel, Solarino does not pollute, and it is silent. It has a traction capacity up to 350 kg, it is equipped with an emergency stop button and anti-collision sensors. Each operation is im-plemented directly through the remote control up to a distance of 150 meters.

EL Solarino είναι ένα πλήρως ηλεκτρικό και τηλεκατευθυνόμενα ρομπότ καθαρισμού και διαχείρισης των ακτών. Τροφοδοτούμενο με μπαταρίες τζελ και με τη βοήθεια ενός φωτοβολταϊκού πάνελ, Solarino δεν ρυπαί-νει και είναι αθόρυβο. Έχει μια ικανότητα έλξης μέχρι και 350 κιλά, είναι εξοπλισμένo με ένα κουμπί έκτακτης ανάγκης και αισθητήρες αποφυγής σύγκρουσης. Kάθε ενέργεια υλοποιείται άμεσα μέσω του τηλεχειριστηρί-ου σε απόσταση μέχρι 150 μέτρων.

IT Granuli di polietilene realizzati utilizzando materiali di recupero di pro-venienza domestica, industriale e agricola. La piattaforma di selezione consente di dividere i materiali prima della lavorazione, in maniera tale da produrre materiali adatti alla filmatura, lo stampaggio e l’estrusione e le specifiche esigenze del cliente.

EN Production of polyethylene granules using recycled materials from do-mestic, industrial and agricultural uses. The selection platform allows to separate the materials before processing in order to produce materials suitable for the filming, molding and extrusion and fitting the specific requirements of the customer.

Παραγωγή κόκκων πολυαιθυλενίου από ανακυκλωμένο πλαστικό οικι-ακής, βιομηχανικής και γεωργικής χρήσης. Η πλατφόρμα επιλογής επι-τρέπει την κατηγοριοποίηση των υλικών ανάλογα με τον τύπο του πο-λυμερούς, πριν από την επεξεργασία, έτσι ώστε να παράγει προϊόντα κατάλληλα για την παραγωγή ταινίας, χύτευση και εξώθηση και σύµφω-να µε τις ειδικές απαιτήσεις του πελάτη.

Compost di qualità da riutilizzo di Posidonia

IT Il composto realizzato con residui di Posidonia Oceanica è frutto di un processo produttivo sostenibile che consente di rimuovere i cumuli di alghe senza danneggiare le spiagge e riutilizzarli evitandone lo smalti-mento in discarica. Il prototipo di setaccio rotativo realizzato consente la pulitura in loco della biomassa rimossa dalla spiaggia, che viene lavata con acqua di mare e passata al setaccio più volte. La sabbia e i residui ve-getali separati non utilizzati vengono ricollocati nella zona di rimozione.

EN The compost made from waste of stranded Posidonia Oceanica is the result of a sustainable production process that allows to remove the stranded seagrass biomass without harming the beaches and to reuse them preventing the disposal. The rotary sieve prototype allows the on–site cleaning of the biomass removed from the beach, through a sea-wa-ter washing and repeated sieving. The sand and vegetable residues are separated and relocated in the area of removal.

EL Το κόμποστ που δημιουργείτε από τα απόβλητα της Posidonia oceanica είναι το αποτέλεσμα μιας βιώσιμης διαδικασίας παραγωγής, η οποία, όπου αυτό είναι αναπόφευκτο, επιτρέπει την αφαίρεση της βιομάζας χωρίς να βλάπτει τις παραλίες και την επαναχρησιμοποίηση τους αποφεύγοντας την υγειονομική ταφή. Το περιστροφικό κόσκινο επιτρέπει τον επιτόπου καθαρισμό της αφαιρούμενης βιομάζας που πλένεται με θαλασσινό νερό και κοσκινίζεται αρκετές φορές. Η άμμος και τα φυτικά υπολείμματα δια-χωρίζονται και επανατοποθετούνται στο χώρο αφαίρεσης.

INDAGINE SULLE MODALITÀ DI GESTIONE E TECNICHE INNOVATIVE PERLA RIMOZIONE DEI RESIDUI SPIAGGIATI DI POSIDONIA OCEANICA

Gran parte dei residui di posidonia finiscono in discarica dopo la pulizia degli areni-li. Un’alternativa sostenibile al costoso smaltimento in discarica può essere indivi-duata nell’impiego di questi residui per la produzione di compost, anche alla luce

della recente normativa sui fertilizzanti.

L’INDAGINE CONDOTTA SULLE MODALITÀ DI GESTIONENell’ambito del progetto europeo Life PRIME “Posidonia Residues Integrated Ma-nagement for Eco-sustainability” , nel corso del 2010-2012 è stata condotta una in-dagine su circa 50 comuni costieri distribuiti sul territorio nazionale, con l’obiettivo di acquisire dati relativi alle quantità di residui spiaggiati e informazioni sulle stra-

tegie di gestione dei residui.

La posidonia (Posidonia oceanica (L.) Delile) è una fanerogama marina con una grande capacità di produrre biomassa che, in parte, si accumula lungo i litorali. Lo spiaggiamento dei residui vegetali marini contribuisce a proteggere le coste

dall’erosione e costituisce un habitat naturale per molte specie viventi.

LE MODALITÀ DI RACCOLTA DEL MATERIALE SPIAGGIATOIl principale problema che si affronta al momento della raccolta delle biomasse spiaggiate è quello della presenza di materiali estranei (sabbia, plastica, rifiuti di vario genere). Di solito, nei litorali sabbiosi i residui spiaggiati vengono raccolti con mezzi non idonei che determinano il compattamento e l’allontanamento di ingenti

quantità di sabbia.

Dall’analisi è emerso che la maggior sensibilità alla problematica in questione è manifestata dai comuni a prevalente vocazione turistica, e che il fenomeno dello spiaggiamento colpisce il 64% dei comuni intervistati. La biomassa marina deposi-tata sulla spiaggia, nel 76% dei casi viene rimossa e nella gran parte dei casi (81%) la rimozione viene effettuata almeno una volta ogni anno. Nella maggior parte dei casi la rimozione dei residui avviene manualmente (45%), mentre si ricorre all’uso di mezzi meccanici, sia generici che specifici, nel 30% e 25% dei casi. Per quanto ri-guarda la destinazione dopo la rimozione dal luogo di spiaggiamento, nel 50% dei casi il materiale è smaltito in discarica, nel 43% gli accumuli sono solo spostati (sulla stessa spiaggia oppure in aree diverse più o meno adiacenti), mentre solo in piccola parte (7%) sono destinati ad essere trattati in un impianto di compostaggio.

CONCLUSIONIIl trattamento descritto, oltre a comportare benefici ambientali legati alla mancata asportazione di sedimenti dagli arenili, migliora l’attitudine dei re-sidui vegetali spiaggiati ad essere utilizzati per la produzione di compost di qualità.La prospettiva è quella di mettere a punto macchinari in grado di rendere possibile la rimozione dei residui da destinare al recupero, nel rispetto dell’ecosistema costiero.

Pertanto è stato messo a punto un prototipo idoneo a separare i residui vegetali da sabbia e ri-fiuti eventualmente presenti, mediante lavaggio, con la stessa acqua di mare, setaccia-tura e riduzione delle dimensio-ni finali del materiale trattato. In tal modo, si ottiene una bio-massa organica più adatta alla

successiva manipolazione.

La tabella 1 sintetizza alcuni risultati ottenuti dai test effettuati. Da essi si evince come l’uso del setaccio rotativo consenta di allontanare quasi completamente la sabbia. Ciò si riflette anche sulla densità del materiale che, a seguito della perdita di sedimento, diminuisce notevolmente, pur a fronte dell’aumento di umidità conseguente ai lavag-gi: inconveniente quest’ultimo che può essere facilmente risolto prevedendo, dopo

il trattamento, lo stoccaggio in loco per un periodo di tempo funzione della stagione.

IT Stazione di ricarica ultra veloce per i veicoli elettrici attualmente in com-mercio. La colonnina Ze Energy consente la ricarica dell’80% in 15 minuti di tre veicoli contemporaneamente, riducendo il tempo di attesa. L’ac-cesso alla ricarica e il relativo pagamento avviene mediante RFID card oppure via QR code, con carta prepagata. Le colonnine sono inoltre inte-roperabili, per cui qualunque operatore può vendere energia.

EN Ultra-fast charging station for the electric vehicles currently on the mar-ket. The Ze Energy pedestal may simultaneously charge up to 80% of 3 vehicles in only 15 minutes, reducing the waiting time. Recharging and payment are obtained through a RFID card or QR code with a prepaid card. The recharging stations are interoperable, thus any supplier can sell energy.

EL Σταθμός υπερταχείας φόρτισης ηλεκτρικών οχημάτων που υπάρχει πρός το παρόν στην αγορά. Ο σταθμός Ze Energy φορτίζει το 80% τρών αυτο-κινητών ταυτόχρονα μεσα σε 15 λεπτά, μειώνοντας τον χρόνο αναμονής. Η φόρτιση και η πληρωμή γίνεται μέσω κάρτας RFID ή κωδικό QR με προ-πληρωμένη κάρτα. Οι σταθμοί φόρτισης είναι διαλειτουργικές, επομένως οποιοσδήποτε φορέας μπορεί να πωλήσει ενέργεια.
