Firoz Patel A Dedicated Philanthropist

Firoz Patel is a resourceful and innovative professional who co-founded AlertPay Inc. in 2005. He was always on a hunt

for new ways of improving and elevating the quality of service delivered by the company. He has been fearless and confident throughout his professional career. He pioneered

and envisioned advanced business processes in order to meet the organizational goals, achieve its mission, and take it to a

higher capability of productivity.

Firoz Patel holds a Business Administration degree in Marketing from Champlain College in Quebec and

has 18 years of leadership experience. He was nominated thrice for the Ernst and Young

Entrepreneur of the Year. He played a significant role in the success of AlertPay Inc., which added several awards to the company’s portfolio. Apart from his

professional pursuits, he involves himself in numerous charity drives and contributes towards the

welfare of the society.

He is a philanthropist who dedicatedly contributes to various local, national, and international charities. He also held a charity drive named “Alternative Ways of Giving” at his company’s Montreal office in March

2013. Instead of asking employees to make monetary contributions, he challenged them and their partners

to contribute through alternative ways like volunteering their time and donating blood. This charity campaign was supported by organizations including Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Montreal, Oxfam Unwrapped, and Hema Quebec.

In December 2013, Firoz along with his Montreal office team made a concerted effort recognizing the

need of Dans La Rue, which is a local Montreal charity that helps kids up to the age of 18 living on the streets by providing food and shelter. Firoz and his team raised as much money, clothing, food, and

other necessary items that they could and contributed to this worthy cause of helping the needy. By the end of the charity campaign, i.e. a week shy of Christmas, they had raised almost $200 in loose change, $1500

in bigger cash donations;

Firoz Patel donated the exact amount that his employees gave. Countless articles of used and new

clothing, non-perishable food products, personal hygiene items, and a substantial stash of used books

was also collected by them that was donated graciously to this local charity. Besides work and charity, his passions include playing badminton,

skiing, and reading. A resident of Montreal, Firoz is a devoted husband and father.
