Fiona Aboud Fiona Aboud is known for her portrait essays, in which

she takes a mobile photo studio into a crowd, capturing groups of individual portraits while the subjects are in key moments of their lives. Recent projects include the “African Amputee Soccer Tournament” and “Queens of Carnivale”. She has received numerous honors for her work, including recognition from the International Photography Awards, Graphis, Women in Photography, and Photography Book Now. Her current project, “Sikhs in America”, documents Sikha as they carry their traditions into the fabric of America. “Sikhs in America” was exhibited at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC in June 2009.

Accra Shepp Accra Shepp is the son of famed Jazz musician Archie Shepp. His

photographs have been exhibited in the United States and abroad; His recent industrial cityscape series , "Islands of New York", was shown at the Studio Museum in Harlem. Shepp has created several other intriguing bodies of work, including "Altas", a hand made limited edition artists book investigating the creation of the world, "The Tobacco Project", exploring American Tobacco farming, and "Photographs from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan". His work engages the issues touching upon the environment at the intersection of memory and geography, while employing strategies of narrative and scientific cataloguing. He has work in the collections at the Whitney, MOMA, the Victor & Albert Museum in London, among others. He completed a Fulbright Scholarship in Indonesia in 1999. Shepp earned a Master in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU with a concentration in conservation of art. He holds a B.A. in Art History and Studio Art from Princeton University and is currently teaching at Princeton.

Stephanie Dinkins Stephanie Dinkins is an interdisciplinary artist who merges video and sound with an array of organic and found materials to create sculptures and installations. She has recently completed residencies at Pecs, Hungary for residency unlimited and in Breman, Germany. She exhibited the solo show, “This Land is My Land” at the Staller Center for the Arts at Stony Brook University. She earned an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and is an alumna of the Independent Studies Program of the Whitney Museum of American Art and Artist in the Marketplace Program of the Bronx Museum of Art. She is also the recipient of grants from the Puffin Foundation, the Trust for Mutual Understanding, the Lef Foundation and Phillip Morris. She lives and works in New York and is currently teaching at Stony Brook University.

Terry Boddie

The major themes running through Terry Boddie works are migration and memory, He combines historical narrative, patterns, and language as well as his own imagery to reposition the vantage points from which history is told. Boddie's "Tomb" limited print edition was recently completed at the Brodsky Center for Innovative Editions. His "Cyphers" exhibition was recently shown at Gallery 138 in New York.

Nancy Goldring

Nancy Goldring observers, collects, and then reenacts the entropic process in elaborate foto-projections of subtlety and beauty. It is not nostalgia that drives these works, but historical imagination - a continually renewed recognition of the accumulation of meaning in made things. And this cultural accumulation can only be rendered and made visible in relation; that is, through the palimpsest.
