HIV AIDS

HIVAIDS

Human Immunodeficiency Syndrome” A specific type of virus (a retrovirus) HIV invades the helper T cells to replicate

itself. No Cure It is a condition in which the built in defense

system of the body breaks down completely. This phenomenon is gradual but ultimately leads to total depletion of a very important cell component of the immune mechanism. Thus those who are affected are unable to combat with common diseases including even mild infections since his/her immunity is knocked out and body resistance is reduced.

INTRODUCTION 33.3 million people worldwide now infected with

HIV. AIDS deaths in 2009 was 1.8 million. India’s first known HIV infection was diagnosed in a

female sex worker in Chennai in February 1986. 5.2 million people in India now infected with HIV. 46% are female & 5.9% are children in India.(The Hunter Theory of HIV Origin, Oral Polio Vaccine, Conspiracy

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY To find out the public awareness about HIV AIDS. To find out the demographic profile of

respondent about HIV AIDS. To find out the symptoms of HIV AIDS & its

awareness among the illiterate & literate people. To find out Govt. initiatives funds HIV AIDS

campaign. To find out the cause behind failure of govt.

initiatives towards HIV AIDS project. To find the public perception towards HIV

infected people after watching the HIV AIDS campaign.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Primary source -we have collected from public by doing FGD( focused group discussion ) for understanding of the problem by the questionnaire.

Secondary sources -we have collected data from external sources

which have collected from NACO, OSACS.nic.in1.Approach & methodology:- The methodology for the study is Both secondary

and primary research methods will be adopted to obtain the above mentioned research objectives.

2.Sample Design :- We have followed by cluster sampling method for

selection of respondent because our research focused group for data collection.

We had taken 20 group for our project, each group consist of five member.We have done research at BARAMUNDA & RASULGARH.We have taken seven literate group & thirteen illiterate group, & we have done this on these questionnaire_ _ _

WHY FGD?

THIS IS A VERY SENSITIVE TOPIC SO PEOPLE WILL FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE TO GIVE THERE VIEW IN GROUP.TO TAKE CLEAR VIEW OR DATA FORM THE TARGET AUDIENCE IT IS THE BEST WAY.

HOW TREAT/HELP THE PERSON WHO SUFFERING HIV AIDS

Behaves him/her as a friend.

Him/her family members should co-operative with them.

Should not hat them.

Don’t let him/her to fill it’s a big disease.

Suggest them not keep sexual relation with others without condom.

Good behaves with him/her.

Don’t keep sexual relation with them.

Separate medical facility for them.

Prepare separate bed for them.

STEPS FOR REMOVEING HIV AIDS BY GOVT.

Advertisement should be properly In rural area. Awareness program should be done by

drama,oneactplay and entertainment don by film actor in rural area.

To give advise the rural people how protect themselves from HIV AIDS by govt..

Provide to rural people Monthly free blood test program in govt.medical.

STEPS FOR REMOVEING HIV AIDS BY GOVT.

HIV AIDS topic should be compulsory subject in both govt.& public school & college career.

Govt. should to provide education in every child in rural area.

Provide more advertisement in local channel, newspaper, and more wall print in medical, railway station, bus stand and local market.

Migration in search of work (both in & out migration). Low literacy.Poverty.Urbanization.Inject able drug users.Unsafe sex practice (both hetero & homo-sexual).Ignorance about modes of transmission of HIV/AIDS.
