HELLO VIKING: VIKING SMACKDOWNBack in July 2008, roughly a week before the highly anticipated iPhone 3G launch (remember?), we produced Viking Smackdown, one of the very first mobile websites to utilize the iPhone’s accelerometer. A few hundred thousand people, eager for anything iPhone, visited the site and played the game. Some, for over an hour a piece. The mobile app was an Apple App Store “Pick of the Week” during the iPhone 3G launch.

burning  fuel  creates  CO2  (i.e.  

Carbon).  You  may  want  to  

consider  unplugging  all  your  

devices  when  they’re  not  in  use,  

because  there  is  a  “phantom”  

current  that  is  still  burning  fuel.  At  

the  very  least,  try  using    “standby”  

modes  on  your  equipment  to  

reduce  your  impact.
