requirements in a cost-effective

manner (Wikipedia, 2008)

Just-In-Time (JIT)

• Just-in-time is defined as an integrated set of

activities designaed to achieve high-

volume production using minimum

inventories of parts that arrive at the

workstation exactly when they are

needed. (Chase, 2006)

E-Business

Three areas are changed by

e-business

1. Business

2. Distribution

3. Payments

They become more interconnected

by the e-business, with accurately

updates and in real time.

Conclusion• Recognized that Hershey is cost-

effective & flexible

• explained the measures the amount of

outputs and inputs throughout the

product cycle

• Just-in-time helps the team

resourcefully to and successfully plan

scheduling , the flow throughout the

production process
