BG Admin Access

• The BG Admin* is an administrative web tool which allows you to manage the users in the business group.

• Access to the BG Admin is available from any location with Internet access.– Go to https://hostedpbx.onecommunications.com/bg/.– Enter your 10-digit phone number.– Enter the PIN that you created when you set up your voice

mail.

*System requirements are listed in the Quick Start Guide.

Phones

• Phones provides administration of lines and phone mappings.– The Administrator can re-assign lines to the MAC Address

of a phone. – The Administrator can change the phone profile (Ex. Soft

keys) for all users in the Business Group. – Contact the One Communications Customer Care Center

to replace a damaged phone. – One Communications must enter the phones (MAC

Addresses) and Lines into the system.

Speed Dialing

• Short Codes– Speed dial numbers (1 to 7 digits) for all members of the

Business Group to call external numbers.• (Ex.) All members can dial 3239 to call 9 1 866-469-3239

– Short Codes can be used to provide 4-digit dialing to another office.

• Extensions– Speed dial numbers within the Business Group.– The numbers must be listed in the Lines section.

Note: There is a maximum of 130 Short Codes, Short Code ranges, and Extensions.

Call Logs

• Call Logs are presented in a CSV report listing the calls to and from lines in your administration domain. – Use the filtering options to specify a date range or to

restrict the report to calls to and from lines in a given department.

– The file contains the following: date, time, call type, calling number, called number, call connected, duration, queuing time, account code and carrier code.

– Information is provided on a historical basis (not real time).

Auto Attendant

• Auto Attendant is a hosted, customizable, automated receptionist.– The BG Admin allows you to modify announcements*,

• Music On Hold is a system for playing media to callers placed on hold.

• The BG Admin allows you to assign resources to specific business lines.– MOH is configurable based on the directory

number for up to 20 mappings.• You can use the One Communications default

media or create your own licensed media.

Page over speaker*

• A paging service through the IP Phones– When the programmable key (paging group) is

pressed a broadcast message is sent to all the phones or can be sent to specific phones. Receiving Phones will go to a speaker phone mode.

– The Aastra phones support up to 10 different paging groups. They can receive (listen for) pages on 10 different groups as well as send pages to 10 different groups.

*Not available with Cisco IP Phones
