Twitter – Why Use It?
Dawn Davis-Lawrence
Overview of Twitter In the simplest terms, Twitter is an online social
networking service that enables users to send and read short – up to 140-character messages – which are referred to as "tweets".
Registered users can read and post tweets, but unregistered users can only read them.
Users access Twitter through the website interface, SMS, or mobile device app.
A tweet can contain anything you like, within the boundaries of social acceptability.
