Julien Foussard started out in the business world at the age of twenty-one in 2007. This was when

he put his Business studies in France on hold and decided to branch out on his own to found his first

startup company. This first business venture he created was an online pet shop. Julien Foussard has

always been self-taught and greatly optimistic. These two traits combine to form a unique

characteristic of adaptability that has served him well as he has continued to develop in the business

world. When asked, he considers the main keys of being a successful entrepreneur to be passion and

savoir-faire. He also shares that to be a successful entrepreneur, one must have a high capacity for

problem solving in all aspects their business and field. The phrase he lives by is “Try, fail, and try

again.”

Julien Foussard realized at the young age of 12 that he wanted to be the head of a startup. Being at

the heart of a startup’s foundation would give him just that career opportunity. By being self-taught

and maintaining great optimism in spirit, he has been able to work successfully in business

development. Julien Foussard’s willingness work tirelessly to build, adapt the status quo and alter

already established systems in his industries has worked in his favor throughout his career. His

entrepreneurial passion have also assisted him in breaking down barriers and creating new

innovative companies.
