A mobile application is a software application which works on smartphones, tablet computers and other mobile devices.
Mobile apps were originally offered for general productivity and information retrieval, including email, calendar and stock market.
The popularity of mobile applications is steadily increasing.
A May 2012 comScore study reported that during the previous quarter, more mobile subscribers used apps than browsed the web on their devices: 51.1% vs. 49.8% respectively.

The Donors can select the items and donate it to their nearest NGO shown in the App.

“I Pledge To Drive Safe” is an awareness campaign for safe driving promoted by FORD INDIA
The campaign is mainly promoted by an App “ I Pledge To Drive Safe ” in Facebook which demands the user to take pledge from the list of various pledges available
The pledge after being taken by the user is published on to the user’s Facebook Wall
This makes the user aware of the pledge taken and also serves as an invitation for his friends to do so

TATA DOCOMO for promoting the Bloodline Club has launched a fun-filled game called ‘Super Saver’ on its Facebook page.
The game is related to saving those animated characters who are in short of blood by donating blood. The donor who donates more would be the winner.
The Supersavers app is a fun, message-driven, action oriented game that makes you join the Bloodline Club at once.
