Setting it up

It’s easy to set up.• All you need is your own music collection and

an internet-connected Windows PC with the free Winamp music player and the Playmysong Winamp App

• You can use the standard Playmysong juke-box for free and upgrade to our optional premium service if and when you want!

You’re up and running!

Tell your customers.• We’ve got stickers and flyers ready to go,

just ask and we’ll send you a pack!

• Playmysong Pro customers can also use our “Big Screen” feature, which shows Playmysong for customers in a cool way on the venue’s TV.

Ideas for use• Everyday: Johto Café in Helsinki offers Playmysong to its customers from 9am

to 9pm every day. They have three scheduled playlists, which automatically change; ‘morning’, ‘afternoon’ and ‘evening’.

• Regular nights: Idle Hands Bar in East Village in New York is having a Playmysong Night every Monday. On other nights they have mostly DJs.

• Events: New York’s premier design industry event Wanted Design used Playmysong in their opening party with 1500 guests.

FAQ

• Why should we give the control of our venue’s music to our customers?You don’t. You create the playlist that is available in your venue’s jukebox and your customers can only queue up songs from the playlist that you have defined. In a way we are just replacing shuffle with customer requests.

• Will the music keep playing if there are no customer requests?Yes. Playmysong will always play songs from your playlist in shuffle order until customers make requests.

• What if one user plays the same song for 50 times in a row? This is very easy to avoid. Our app allows the venue to set up limits on how often one user can play songs and how often one song can be played.

• What happens if the internet connection goes down? Our app keeps playing music even when the internet connection is down. However, users can only make requests after the internet connection has been resumed.

• Can I use the Playmysong Spotify app in my venue? No. Unfortunately Spotify’s own licensing terms prohibit the use of their music in businesses.

• Do I need to pay new public performance licenses if we use Playmysong?No. As customers can request songs for free and you already own your music catalogue, the standard public performance licenses that you need for playing music in your venue in any case are sufficient.
