At PPG, sustainable operations serve as a hallmark of who we are and how we operate around the globe. Our employees continually work to find new ways to reduce our footprint. And every day brings new progress and better results. Here are a few of the highlights from 2015.

We set a goal of 30% of company global sales to come from sustainable products by 2020. We reached that goal in 2015.

Upgrading the closed-loop chilled water system at our Huntsville, Alabama, plant reduced the system’s electricity use by almost 45%.

By converting scrap material into pellets that are reintroduced into the manufacturing process at one of our Ohio plants, we eliminated more than 426 metric tons of non-hazardous waste in 2015.
