Verizons Internet of Things segment recorded $217 million in revenue in the third quarter, up 24% from the prior-year period. That looks small in the context of the companys total quarterly revenue of $30.9 billion, but Verizons IoT business should see strong growth spurred by acquisitions, internal development, and acceleration of the connectivity trend.
