    U.S. Green Building Council Colorado Chapter (USGBC Colorado) is a 501(c)3non-profit organization established in the state of Colorado in 2003.USGBC Colorado depends on the support of our members to advance our mission:
    To advance and promote sustainable planning, design, construction, and operation of the built environment through education, improving industry guidelines, policy, advocacy, and information and resource sharing.

Communicating green buildingin Southern Colorado through E-Blasts, Newsletters, Website, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Creatingand executing informative, compelling internal and external communications campaigns that educate, motivate, and activate our green building community members
8. Advocacy Committee
Increasing public awareness about the economic, ecological, and societal benefits of sustainable buildings and communities
Educating and acting as a resource for policy-makers, legislators, and citizens about policies, incentives, and legislation
9. Education Committee
Executing educational programming development and work towards fulfilling the goals set forth by the Colorado Chapter Education Committee
Working together to organize monthly events throughout the year.Identify locations, topics, and speakers.
10. Emerging Professionals
Educating and introducing young professionals to the built environment, focusing on sustainability, and green building.
The committee will be made up of students and professionals within five years of starting their careers.
