DESCRIPTION

The way we earn social capital changed when digital media became a layer in our business lives. Through social media and other digital outlets, we can now help others and, in the process "bank" social capital to use when we need it. But to do that means you need to start thinking about creating credibility for yourself before you need it. This presentation will provide tips on exactly how to do that.

Be Found

• Google your name: do you dominate the

first page of search results? Are you at

least listed? Are you nowhere to be

found?

• Remember, advancing your career means

being accessible and transparent. If you

make it hard for others to find you, you

limit your ability to further your career.

Be Known

• What does someone see first when they
