Making my school magazine front cover

Background

Firstly I made the background pink.

Title

Then, I added the title “Weatherhead Weekly” to the masthead.

Positioning statement

I then added the positioning statement: ‘Number 1 School magazine In the uk!’

Coverlines

Next I added a shape and then added “FREE! 1000 IRIS POINTS with code inside” using a buzzword to make the reader want to read the magazine.

Barcode

Then, I added a barcode In the corner.

I then added another coverline “EXCLUSIVE! INTERVIEW WITH MR DYMENT”

Next I added the main image which covers most of the page.

I then added two more coverlines to the sides of the magazine which frame the image.

I then added the issue number and price near to the barcode at the bottom of the page.
