Who am I?

I am from Knoxville. I grew up in South Knoxville and graduated from South Doyle High School. Upon graduation, I attended school to work with children in a ministerial position. I worked in Atlanta with after school and community mentoring programs. For the last two years, I have been the Family Life Minister at a church in Oak Ridge which encompassed working with the children and youth of the church.

My Family

• I have been married for eight years to my wife Jennifer and have a year old daughter named Elsie Kate.

• We have a Jack Russell dog named Juliet. When not working, our favorite thing to do is to camp in the Smokies.

youth ministry. Additional responsibilities include equipping and developing lay leadership for the children, youth, and family ministries of the church. Also, work with all associated church leadership teams to offer quality activities that meet the spiritual and social needs of families. Also, involved in pastoral care, education, worship leadership, spiritual direction, and outreach with the ministerial team.

teaching and learning styles.• Developed a successful Vacation Bible School program that

My Philosophy

• I believe that we have to use multiple methods to approach all learning styles and to captivate students’ minds.

• Students should experience learning, not just hear it.

• I believe that children have so much negativity in their lives. We can make school a positive, rewarding and fun part of their day and impact their lives. I enjoy helping children find success and build confidence.
