Project Proposal Engineer

Description

The Project Proposal Engineer will support the Sales Team by providing equipment design layouts using CAD design packages, generating technical sales proposals, preparing accurate cost estimates, ensuring that proposals are compliant with internal procedures and leading the handover of secured orders to the Engineering Projects Team. Although the appointed individual will only be expected to work away from home 1 night per month, the Project Proposal Engineer will be required to travel throughout the UK, Europe and South America to complete site surveys and risk assessments, assist with machinery trails and finalise contracts.

Applicants must hold qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline and be a proficient user of CAD software. Also, they will be able to demonstrate experience working in a similar position or as a Design/Poject Engineer for a company who supply Food/FMCG machinery.

Electrical Controls Engineer

Description

The appointed individual will support electrical, control & instrumentation systems throughout this high-speed Food & Drink production facility. They will successfully integrate automation systems and an implement an effective controls maintenance schedule, whilst cross-examining current programmes and practices on PLC’s to ensure they meet the needs of production.

The Electrical Controls Engineer will also work alongside the project team advising and developing project scopes for PLC based systems with other interfaces, working on scope, design, costing and overseeing the installation and commissioning of systems. A high level of personal drive and willingness to train others are key requirements of this role, as is proficiency in the use of Siemens S7 and the ability to safely make adjustment to electrical distribution systems.

Production Planner

Description

Responsibilities of this role will include formulation of a production plan that minimises downtime and delivers service levels. Also, to control finished goods and WIP stock levels so as to minimise disposals. Description

Managing the site Hygiene System, the jobholder will ensure that all documentation is available and effectively communicated to other departments and stakeholders. Responsibilities include: accompanying the Company Technical Manager on Hygiene Audit Inspections and being available for Internal Quality System Audits as required.
