It’s called the Notes View in Powerpoint – where you can write as many words as you want… your whole script if you’d like, for your own personal reading enjoyment… without subjecting everyone’s eyeballs to all the details.

I highly recommend it.

• No excuse for dense, extensive, complicated charts– Lots of people make very dense charts– Hard to read, hard to understand, boring

• Limit charts to 1/2 to 1 point per chart (mostly)– Use Handouts to provide detailed information– Use Notes View to track talking points

• Bullets Are Unnecessary And Can Be Deleted• Several “How-To” books available

– Presentation Zen– Beyond Bullet Points– Better Than Bullet Points
