I FUGAO Engraving and Ornamentation Work L.L.C. is a Dubai based company owned

by a Filipino who hailed from the northern part of the Philippines. Ifugao is his birth-

place to which he pays tribute to thus, his company IFUGAO. It is known as the

place where the best sculptors are born, from the famous Banawe Rice Terraces and

the well known sculpture works in the Philippines. At an early age, he started working along-

side his father whilst his mother sells what they produce. Most of them in the family do this

until such time that they can start their own. One of his brothers is in the same business in the

Philippines and is now offering his skills to the market s of Middle East and North Africa. The

owner of the company is from a humble beginning and considers himself blessed for getting

clients from referrals.

IFUGAO does not only engage in engraving and ornamentation jobs, but also Theming turnkey

projects such Landscaping with the touch of Rock Formation, Interior contracting works with

theming concept, Artistic wall paintings, Portrait Sculpture, Advertising 3D Fabrications, Movie

and Advertising Props, Character Sculpture, Trade Show Stand, Major or Minor Events Props.

The company is in the process of expanding its services and embracing new horizons.

IFUGAO consists of Filipino workers and a few other nationalities across Asia

with distinctive talents: from design to architectural concept and sculpting. Its very talented

production team makes sure that the company produces creations that look real and alive. The

S culpture as an art form goes back to Prehistoric times. Most Stone Age statuettes were made of ivory

or soft stone, however some clay human and animal figures have been found. Small female statues

known as Venus figurines have been found mainly in central Europe. The Venus of Willendorf (24,000-

22,000 BC), from the area of Willendorf, Austria, is a well-known example.

In the Philippines, most of the people from the northern part are the ones considered the EXPERTS when

it comes to carving or sculpting. Banawe Rice Terraces is one of the best examples that even went as far

as becoming one of the 7 wonders of the world. It is a man made formation.

We normally use GRP also known as glass fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP), which is a fiber reinforced poly-

mer made of a plastic matrix reinforced by fine fibers made of glass. It is also known as GFK (for Glasfaserv-

erstärkter Kunststoff), or simply by the name of the reinforcing fibers themselves: fiberglass. GRP is a light-

weight, strong material with many uses, including boats, automobiles, water tanks, roofing, pipes, cladding

and external door skins.

In carving or sculpting, a lot of materials can be used and as such are categorized as Traditional and Mod-

ern Materials. Most of our work are done using GRP, GRC and Styro Foam, but we are not limited to such.

Our services are more of fabrication and customization of materials. We do landscaping also for any partic-

ular concept and design. This is done not just by putting flowers and grass but giving a certain taste to the

areas in order to invite the onlookers to take a second look and click their cameras causing them not only

to appreciate the beauty of the creation but to share it with others.

The type of art that we are into is very unique and most probably rare. You have to be very keen and

should have an eye for details.

One of the things that our company do is Ornamentation. From where the company have receive numer-

ous awards and recognition, clients and other export inquiries. We have been supplying materials , adver-

tising elements and props for a number of prestigious companies
