Does this company use subcontractors? It is important to know that the company you

hire is the company coming to your home.

If you are going with a new company, it doesn’t hurt to have your maintenance history and unit information on hand.

Any and all information you can pass along to your technician helps them properly diagnose your system.

Call their references

If a company provides you with references, don’t hesitate to call them.

It is important to know if their job was completed within the timeframe and if they incurred any additional expenses.

Make sure to ask for proof of a contracting license and it doesn’t hurt to ask if they also have worker’s compensation insurance along with it.

No qualified contractor will ever recommend a system without a thorough inspection of your home.

They will talk to you about your current issues and needs before coming to a recommendation.
