Our client is a utility company, which

has already had their own SDH networks

built around the country. After

discussion, VoIP is an ideal solution for

sites to interconnect and also save

telephone bills. With TAINET’s carrier-

class VoIP solution installed on both

central office and the remote sub-

station, staff on both sides can

communicate both ways at no costs.

However, given the consideration of

long distance between CO and the sub-

station, media converters were also

recommended to reach the remote site
