The wolf justifies his journeys to the little pigs' houses as needing to ask for some sugar to bake a cake for his dear Granny's birthday, his "huffing and puffing" as him having a cold and "sneezes a great sneeze, and justifies his eating of the pigs as not letting good meat go to waste, since the pigs die in the sneeze anyway. At the end it shows he is telling the story of how he was framed while in prison. Goldilocks wanders far from home and stumbles upon the house of the three bears. First sitting in all of their chairs and tasting all of their porridge, then lying in all of their beds she finds the little baby bears the most suitable for her. Later on the bears come home and chase her out.
