Invertebrate Aquarium PBL You are a team of scientists and designers that will be opening up an Invertebrate Aquarium. Your plan is to include a display on each invertebrate phyla in your exhibit. You will conduct research on the different groups and decide which animal you would like to showcase as your model species. CHOOSE YOUR ROLE: 1-2 Chairpersons : Complete 3 phyla note sheets, including specific examples and a photo for each. Oversee all of the other jobs and help where needed. Responsible for the final outcome of the product. Responsible for making sure that everyone has all of the worksheets completed and are staying on task. 2 Head Researchers: Complete 12 phyla note sheets, including specific examples and a photo for each. Gather all information and verify the accuracy of ALL note sheets by all partners. Help the zoologist create a catchy description for 10 animals. Zoologist : Complete 2 phyla note sheets, including specific examples and a photo for each. Use the information that the other members provided to create a catchy description (typed) for 10 of the specific animals that will be included in the display. This should be written as if it was a display at an actual aquarium. Designers : Complete 2 phyla note sheets, including specific examples and a photo for each. Create the aquarium layout and draw pictures for each of the animals, using the photos that the others provided to you. Organize the zoo into sections appropriate for the habitat or adaptations of each animal. You will obtain all of the information from each member. Procedure: 1. Choose roles. 2. Complete worksheets using books or internet 3. Create a display for each animal phyla, including a picture and description 4. Create a large map or 3D model of the zoo 5. Explore each of the neighboring zoos
