Mission Statement:

I am a free spirited designer. I love to create everything- and anything. Having the ability to show unique ideas through design has always been a factor I love to grow

within. Through my life I have been able to learn fast with anything including design from video editing, photography, and website coding. I believe art is the ability to create a face for words. Someone can produce an idea but when the idea is just a

though, we are the ones who make it come to life just by being told what is required. Making magic happen since my young age of 6, I have always strived to become the ultimate creator as well as grow as a designer overall. No project is too big or small

for those who have a passion for design.

Elevator Speech:

I am currently studying for my Bachelors in Multimedia design. I have a hunger to learn at all times when it comes to creativity and being able to be a part of a team to

make dreams become reality, ideas to things. I am interested in growing within a company for years to come, to teaching me the ropes will be of no trouble – but just

know I long to do the most I can the best I can through all projects. Art has been something I ran to my whole life, and now I continue to chase it onto my adulthood

in a career of multimedia design.

Course Information| Multimedia Design Bachelors:

MDD310 Multimedia StandardsThis course focuses on generally accepted usability and accessibility standards that are global, industry-wide, or legal for web and other

media. In addition, students apply these standards to develop practices, policies and standards for effective management of

multimedia projects and assets.

MDD340 Business of GraphicsThis course focuses on issues critical to leading successful multimedia projects and businesses. Topics include scoping work for clients, legal

considerations and financial aspects. In addition, the course introduces management principles applied to creative production. Students

develop a pro forma media project plan that uses multiple resources.

MDD410 Emerging Multimedia TechnologiesThis course explores emerging and advanced topics in multimedia. Students explore advances in technology and their implications for design and development of multimedia.

 WGD201 Visual Design FundamentalsIn this course students examine the foundation of visual design. Topics

include the design process; elements of design, such as line, color, form, function and space; and combining elements for enhanced visual design. Students explore these topics through various projects and by

applying concepts using appropriate software.

WGD205 Advanced Design and Rapid VisualizationStudents in this course develop skills in creating graphic media.

Students explore design and use of type, and the process of using rapid visualization for design concept and idea formulation, as well as

create media that enhance user understanding.

WGD210 Digital Imaging FundamentalsStudents in this course learn concepts of digital imaging, including editing, optimizing and preparing images for web-based delivery. Topics such as color, special effects and compression formats are

examined.

WGD229 Information Design

This course addresses principles of analyzing, explaining and communicating instructions, as well as ideas and information used in

integrated text and graphics. Using a collaborative approach, students use real-world examples to explore user-centered design.

WGD232 Web DesignThis course introduces fundamentals of web design principles and web

content management. Topics include the user interface, web page conceptualization, page structure, extensible hypertext markup

language (XHTML), cascading style sheets (CSS), WYSIWYG editors, scripting and web accessibility standards.

WGD235 Web AnimationThis course focuses on design and production of animation within the constraints of web applications. Topics include file-size optimization, timing, formatting requirements and scripting. Automated animation techniques as well as user-mediated animation are addressed.

 WGD242 Advanced Web Design

In this course, students work in teams to develop a web design for a fictitious company. Students research the company’s industry, evaluate competitors’ web designs and explore emerging web

development tools that enhance production capabilities.

WGD251 Responsive Web DesignThis course focuses on advanced web design techniques using hypertext markup language (HTML), cascading style sheets (CSS) and other scripting methods. Topics include current trends in web design and development, and planning and producing digital projects for various types of devices.

 WGD260 Media Portfolio

This capstone course culminates in a professional portfolio that showcases students’ web graphic products, including component

examples and web designs.

Objective I am a very driven individual always looking to create and grow from the experience I take on. I am looking to work with a company or small business that is wanting to make a long term journey to both learn, and as well grow within the fields of art, design, social skills, and networking.

Experience Bealls Outlet – Juniors section

While working this job I learned register skills, as well as methods to suggest our credit cards while at checkout. Grew in skills of organization, and worked busy holidays to ensure all was well through the sections of clothing, folding them, placing clothes back after trying on, and assisting when other registers needed assistance.

Enterprise Electric – Front desk (seasonal)

While working as a secretary for this major company I learned many valuable abilities within organization, panel scheduling, updating blueprints, as well as running errands for those who need in the office. I was able to learn the surface of construction processes within mapping the panels for electricity, as well as do walk through of cites to see where the panels would be placed.

Precious Pets Resort – Assistant manager

Working along with animals I learned how to work front end office requests, designed web videos for promotional use, learned customers personally to assist their stay and as well as their animals needs. Constant cleaning, handling of up to 30 animals at a time in a free roam facility. I was given a raise two times, as well as promoted to assistant manager after a year.

Education Lecanto School of Art

All four years in this High School I was placed in advanced arts, or the academy they have there for arts. Through my 4 years I learned live figure drawing, 2D and 3D arts, pottery, screen printing and digital burning to screens for prints, as well as photography basics and film development. Over this time period I also volunteered for school events and decorating all dance events for the school by theme. End of the year we submitted an AP portfolio and had a formal art showcase of our top pieces with description and progression pieces.

DeVry University – Bachelors in Multimedia Design 2014-2017

Starting my college education before graduating high school enabled me to push through my years for Bachelors in Multimedia design. Improving in my organization skills and ability to accomplish many tasks went form average to multiple deans lists, A classes, and taking on more classes then required for a fulltime student. I have learned coding skills in HTML, CSS, Java and jQuery. Advanced education in imaging and illustration, and learned adobe suite skills. I have gained the knowledge and steps it takes to be freelance but as well as working for a company by not only design and collaboration but delivering information on my projects over this time. I have also learned web video fundamentals, editing images, how to make multiple style websites, as well as deliver comfort in fast pace and multiple tasks and how to take them on within the design and working process.

Skills The skills I have to present are being the jack of all trades and a master of none. I have very good typing skills, within speed and as well as explanation on projects and design. I have learned abilities on building websites by hand with special add-ons such as jQuery and Java running. I am able to work on multiple projects and as well manage time. I have past experience within designing all things, from t-shirts, business cards, Virtual reality home screens, mobile websites, as well as image and video editing. I am able to work long hours, as well as be there to work on busy days when help is needed in the workplace. I like to learn everything inside and out and strive within my workplace no matter the subject of the job.

Professional Development and Training:

Beginning my growth in the Arts started when I entered middle school. I was granted advanced for the rest of the three years in Citrus Springs Middle School, and

followed on to interview for a place in the Lecanto School of Arts. I studied many forms of art from screen-printing, to ceramics with figure drawing as well. Coming across my final year in High school we submitted an AP portfolio that we created

over our final year. Graduating as a art student I also took on college within my final year. The day I turned 18 was also the day of my first college class at DeVry

University. I am studying and almost accomplished my Bachelors in Multimedia Design. Over my courses of not only full time schooling I also was full time working.

In the beginning of college I worked as a secretary for an electric company who builds all the Florida hospitals. I gained knowledge within organization and business

etiquette. I learned to do panel schedules for the fuse boxes, as well as updated all blueprints for the levels and sections of the hospitals. After work slowed in that field I was then working a few host jobs learning to organize and direct those who came into the restaurants. I also was able to keep track of the next to be seated and keep peace for the anxious customers. When my classes went online I moved back home to save up more money and focus in a small town vs. a major city such as Orlando.

My grades improved from B’s and C’s to A’s, A+’s, and high B’s. I also was in my core classes seeing the end of the tunnel arriving. I began working at a local pet resort

and have worked my way up to assistant manager within a year, and know how to handle up to 30 dogs at once in a free roam facility. I also manage the front desk,

phone calls, appointments for daycares, grooming, filing customers paperwork and entering it within the system for future use. On top of I help with ads as well as

promotional videos for the business to promote the small business in general to the public. I am still currently working at Precious Pets and as I come to my finish line in schooling I have made the choice to move to a bigger city to better my abilities and work options in Pennsylvania. It is about a twenty-minute train ride to center city. Over my working years I have gained good social skills, patience within those who are frustrated, and different fields from retail both food and clothing, professional

office jobs, and as well with animals. Along the way creating art for people with small businesses and assisting those who need help with the creative process.

My Technical skills range from the jobs I have had the pleasure to learn within. From working in restaurants, to handling live animals I have been able to gather key factors to benefit my future along the way. While working as a secretary for a company that builds hospitals I gained technical skills within Microsoft programs to organize and as well update blueprints physically and digitally. I learned how to decode panel schedules for power sources, and mastered most programs such as Word and PowerPoint through my whole life of schooling. I have knowledge on devices used for table vacancy and non vacancy, as well as cash and register skills.

Within school I have learned HTML, CSS, jQuery, and simple Java coding. I can build websites without templates, as well as have a good eye in design not only for web, but merchandise, and promotional things such as videos, cards, shirts, and anything you can technically design for a business or simple subject. Management skills as well for a dog boarding facility helped me gain more social skills as well as full front end and back end learning. Cleaning, organizing, filing, and computer usage comes natural to me. I am a quick learner.

Transferable skills I have are very well rounded. I have great social skills as well as confidence of projects I do, and am always willing to help even under stressful situations within design. I have knowledge in retail sales, food industry, secretary work, as well as working with live animals and assisting management. I am quick to adjust to new subjects as long as I am shown, maybe once or twice then I can typically figure it out on my own. I have skills in typing, and any digital device I am usually helping others figure out, even if I do not own the same device or have a profile on a certain website or host. I enjoy critiques, I feel they are very helpful to benefit your future work. Organization is a huge part of my life, both on my computer work and as well as living lifestyle. I am a very up and at-em type of person that like multiple works to focus on, and help the best I can. I am very driven. I have skills in Creative Suite, Microsoft office, and as well as an eye for design.
