NOTICE OF NOTICE OF NOTICE OF NOTICE OF DEFECTIVE PASTORDEFECTIVE PASTORDEFECTIVE PASTORDEFECTIVE PASTOR

It has come to our atten-tion that the pastor we are receiving was shipped with a slight defect: she is not psychic. This defect neces-sitates certain special procedures to ensure optimum performance of the unit. 1. It is necessary to inform her of any members who are hospitalized. 2. It is necessary to inform her of any members who should be added to the "shut-in" list. 3. If someone you know is sick or otherwise in need of the pastor's prayers, or if you know of someone who should be included in the prayers on Sunday morning, the pastor must be told, or she won't know. 4. If you are in need of a pastoral visit or some other service from the pastor, you will get best results if you ask her. We regret any inconven-ience this may cause. If these special procedures create an undue burden, please feel free to send the unit back, and one with full psychic abilities will be shipped as soon as one becomes available.

Camp Chippewa Please pray for all our kids who are going, or have already gone, to Camp Chippewa / Institute this Summer that they may grow in their understanding and their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Camp is a great opportunity to make new friends, to have fun, and to grow in faith. However, it can also be a time of anxiety and loneliness, especially at the beginning of their time away from home. Please pray for their protection and for peace in their hearts…also just that they will have fun ☺

Our Sunday School ministry will offer you the opportunity to ask questions and grow in your spiritual life. We provide you access to fellowship with other Christians that can develop into lasting friend-ships and a true support group for you. We give you the tools to help find meaning and purpose for your life. What better way to grow in

Jesus Christ than to be with others in Sunday School! SUNDAY’S AT 10:10AM.

First United Methodist Church, Larry and I would like to thank the church for making it possible for me to purchase a magnifier so I can read documents and see pictures. It was certainly a surprise and we cannot thank you enough for all your sup-port. It means so much to us to have such caring people in our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you all.

PASTORS CAN PASTORS CAN PASTORS CAN PASTORS CAN DREAMDREAMDREAMDREAM

Here are some things that a Pastor dreams of hearing in his church. 1. Hey! It's my turn to sit in the front pew.

2. I was so enthralled, I never noticed your sermon went 25 minutes over time.

3. Personally I find witnessing much more enjoyable than golf.

4. I've decided to give our church the $500 a month I used to send to TV evangelists.

5. I volunteer to be the permanent teacher for the Junior High Sunday School class.

6. Forget the denomina-tional minimum salary, let's pay our pastor so he can live like we do.

7. I love it when we sing hymns I've never heard before!

8. Since we're all here, let's start the service early.

9. Pastor, we'd like to send you to this Bible seminar in the Bahamas.

10. Nothing inspires me and strengthens my commitment like our annual stewardship campaign!

11. I couldn't find space to park outside. Praise God!
