After Intensive research and analy-ses we have come up with a very sophisticated design to optimize the load carrying capacity of cable trays. Our design enables the user to install more loads on the same size of other conventional cable trays. For example, if we take a Pre-galvanized steel cable tray from our system with 600mm. width 1.5mm thickness and 60mm height tested at a support span of 1.5m we can get the Load Vs. Deflection diagram shown in (A). The deflection is measured at midspan ac-cording to IEC 61537

If we take similar Cable Trays from a conventional system with 600mm width, 50mm height and 2mm thick-ness tested at a support span of 1.5m we can get the Load Vs. Deflection diagram shown in (B).

If we take another similar cable tray from another nonconventional system with 600mm width, 55mm height and 1.5mm thickness tested at a support span of 1.5m we can get Load Vs. Deflection diagram shown in (C)

The Load at a Deflection of 7.5mm for our system (A) is 700 kg/m, for system (B) is 500 kg/m and for system (C) is 540 kg/m.The carrying Load in our system (A) is 42% higher than (B) after making the adjustment for the difference in thickness and height.The Carrying Load in our system (A) is 19% higher than (C) after making the adjustment for the height. System (C) is stronger than (B) because of a small change in the design pattern.

The major advantage in our systems is SAVING. A contractor is able to install the same loads on smaller sizes of cable trays which makes it possible to reduce cost. The second advantage is SAFETY. A designer is able to gain more strength, from the same size, than other systems. Other advantages include better ventilation, better stability and better condensation drainage.
