GETTING STARTED – CHECKLIST FOR NEW STUDENTS

Letter of Admission Kindly download your letter of admission at www.aeu.edu.my. Click on the

REGISTRATION banner and type in your Identification Card / passport number.

Student ID Card Memorise your student ID number. You will need your physical ID card to access the

classrooms at the ground floor and 6th floor as well as the library at the main campus in

Kuala Lumpur.

Official Receipt Keep it for your tax rebate and proof that you have paid your fees.

Student Handbook Please read the University’s Student Handbook. It will provide you with the rules and

regulations of the University. Kindly download the Student Handbook at

http://www.aeu.edu.my/current-students/student-handbook.

PLS (Personalised Learning Space) http://pls.aeu.edu.my

This is where you download your learning materials and assignments. News and

announcements from the University and schools are posted in PLS. The username and

password to access PLS is your student matric number. Please take note that the

PLS will be the main communication channel between the school and students.

New students can only access PLS when the semester officially commences.

Research based students (PhD, MSc) under the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) can

download the necessary guidelines and forms at PLS.

Student Portal http://portal.aeu.edu.my

This is where you can check your student account and register for subsequent

semesters. Latest and previous announcements are also posted in the student portal.

Timetable / Research Workshops Do not miss your tutorials / research workshops. You can download them by login to

PLS at http://pls.aeu.edu.my.

Digital Library http://library.aeu.edu.my.

Download additional reference from our numerous online database. You can also view

previous examinations in the digital library. Contact the Librarians to setup your account

now!
