Performance Analysis

It is a new multi-touch technology developed by TimeLink, which mainly use the light wave propagation characteristics of a certain band combining with the light wave emission circuit, so that the light wave will form a complex and dense surface light wave network on the touch screen surface. When there’s contact entering into the surface light wave network, the network will be damaged, as a very dense fishing net is torn, which is called “net breaking”. Then the signal receiving circuit receives the breaking signal of the entire light wave network. By analyzing the signal of “net breaking”, it achieves multi-touch identification.

It is a real multi-touch technology, which is able to realize the touch of 2 points, 10 points, 16 points, up to 48 points, and to upgrade the LCD monitors to multi-touch monitors without any modification of LCD structures.
