    Bring on summer!

Every day my kids come home from school and remind me how many school days they have left. I admit I am half-excited and half-terrified. Excited to not have any more days of homework but terrified at the thought of how to fill so many days off from school with fun activities. Do you feel the same?

Its with that in mind that we created our BIGGEST day trips and destinations guide to date. Weve packed it with over 100 ways to have summer fun with your kids. From community events to vacation destinations we hope youll find this a valuable tool in planning your summer of fun.

Thank you to our team of writers for their work to create the great articles and directories. We appreciate our advertisers who make it all possible. And a special thanks to Gap Kids and Gymboree for their Nanotex clothing, pictured on the cover and pages 40 and 71. This stain-resistant wrinkle-free clothing can help your kids and mine look good all summer long, no matter what adventures you choose and we wish you many fun adventures.

    Enjoy your summer,Jennifer Auer, Editor
