Mifama S.A. was established in 1872. In the seventies of the last century,

thanks to the advantageous situation on the Polish hard coal market, it became one

of the largest suppliers of machines and equipment, e.g. belt conveyors, screens and

vibrating feeders, for the mining industry.

In the nineties, in order to meet growing expectations and trends in the area of waste

management, the company started to operate on the recycling and rock aggregate

market. There are more and more municipal and construction wastes. Recycled

materials from demolitions and dismantling may be reused for construction purposes.

Belt conveyors produced by MIFAMA Joint Stock Company are unfailing

and efficient. They apply in transport of bulk materials and other pieces (aggregate, ashes, clays).Modern construction of conveyors designed on base of experience characterise simplicity,denseness and high motional security. All types of conveyors are characterised by high degree ofaggregate unification. Band conveyors are made in different versions : stationary and transportable.Belt conveyors produced by MIFAMA are admitted by WUG for a work in underground polish mines.

In modern world conveyors are an indispensable part of all branchesof industry. And every conveyor has its own features. Belt conveyors work at small inclination angleor horizontally while bucket conveyors - at bigger angle or vertically. None of them is ideal.Belt conveyors cannot work at big angle and that is why they must be much longer if you need tocarry material very high. Sometimes you need a few belt conveyors to carry goods at required level.On the other hand we have bucket conveyors which often fail due to quick use of their parts whencarrying abrasive material and besides, they make excessive noise.

The best solution would be combination of advantages of those machines eliminating their failures atthe same time - conveyor with cleats is such solution and it is already successfully used in manycompanies in industrialised countries.Conveyors with cleats do not suffer damages, work quietly and are versatile. Thank to advantagesof the conveyor belt - sidewalls height from 40 mm to 400 mm and cleats height from 35 mm to 360mm - the output of the conveyor increases and vertical movement can be designed for anypractical assignment.
