middle (Interpretation) and conclusion (Outcome).

Reflective writing is evidence of reflective thinking. In an academic context reflective thinking usually involves: • 1: Looking back at something – e.g. an event (in this case the making of the artefact and the research undertaken). • 2: Analysing the event(s) (thinking in depth and from different perspectives, and trying to explain the event(s), often with reference to a model or theory). • 3: Thinking carefully about what the event (or process) means for you and your ongoing progress as a learner and/or practising professional.
