The Sandan program offers the finest progeny in the Charolais breed, as witnessed by their record breaking fall sale where the cow bull calf pairs, averaged over fifteen thousand. Untouched was the fall breeding program which was designed and built using the finest cow families as donors. The fall bulls are developed on grass throughout the summer, then brought in and supplemented with high roughage diets in the late fall. Since they are about six months older than the yearlings, they can cover more cows and maintain better flesh throughout and after breeding season.To maintain numbers for their customers, Ursula asked the boys at Springside Charolais to add their top cut of bulls to the sale offering. No strangers to the

Charolais industry, Mike and Bob have been supplying the livestock industry with top quality sires for nearly two decades. They are great cowmen always keeping their customer’s needs in mind.

The offering is powerful yet diverse...both white and red influence. They offer great temperament, plenty of hair, inspected for soundness and fertility and packed full of performance to add value to any type of program. We all know of the advantage of using Charolais in a cow/calf program...it’s straight “Charo-nomics!”

Welcome to our 2015 annual bull sale. Many of you are aware that last December, we dispersed our winter calving cows, but retained our fall calvers as we scaled down to the size of herd George and I can handle. We are thankful to our customers for a very successful fall sale. As we look forward to the year ahead, we are excited about the line-up of fall bulls and calves that were too young to offer in the fall sale.In an effort to supply enough numbers of sound quality bulls for our loyal customer base, we asked Mike and Bob to add a top cut of yearlings out of their powerful Springside Charolais herd. Springside Charolais are no strangers to the breed and have on occasion, assisted and partnered in our program.

Plan to be with us sale day, come and select a value-added sire. Bring your friends and family and be our guests for a roast beef luncheon; complete with pies and refreshments.

Feel free to stop by the farm prior the sale as the bulls are always available for viewing.

Sight Unseen Purchase Program...If you are busy calving or cannot attend, we offer asight-unseen purchase program. Give us a call with your needs (birth weight, frame, color, etc.) and we will recommend bulls suitable for your program. We deliver the bulls to you with a “satisfaction” guarantee.

Veterinary Examination...All bulls will be evaluated for breeding soundness with a semen check. Weights and scrotal measurements will be available.

We Can Hold Them...Come in the convenience of your car or truck. We cankeep them for later pickup or delivery. In such cases,please insure your purchases. $100 credit per bull ifpicked up by March 31st.

Throughout the years we have sold numerous packages of cows to prominent Charolais

operations like Prochar Charolais, Wrangler Charolais, Gilliland Bros. Charolais, Diamond Zee Ranched Ltd., Foot Print Farms, and Dave

Curve Bending EPD`s on 114B. Carbon Copy will sire calves that hammer down the scale in the fall. He is the longest bodied bull in the sale with loads of hair, huge testicles, and a fantastic disposition. His dam 4T is a money maker, already producing a herd bull for Hartridge Ranch in Clinton, BC and a female to Jackie Sproule of Diamond Zee Ranches Ltd., of Lethbridge, AB; as well as two daughters in our herd. Length of body equals pounds of weight in the fall, and we all know how those pounds add profi t!

What can you say about a two year old heifer that has a bull calf in March and weans him at 950 pounds at 205 days? Well that’s exactly what 12B’s mother did and we think she’s fantastic! A top cow family here and SOS 249Z is quickly becoming a favourite for us.White Walls has made a lot of friends in the bull pen as well. He has the size, width, and muscle shape that makes him a complete package and even though he is one of the younger bulls, he exhibits huge testicular development and performance to match the age of the older bulls. BIG TIME PERFORMANCE in 302A! This two year old was purchased along with his dam from the Forsyth Bros. dispersal in Manitoba. Terms:The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par atthe sale location. The right of property shall not pass untilafter settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers inattendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Bidding:Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-biddingwill be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopenedbetween the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final.

Announcements:All announcements made from the auction block will takeprecedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.

Breeder’s Guarantee:Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail toprove a breeder after being used on females known to bebreeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze.

Exception Guarantee:In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal orsurgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.

Certificate of Registration:Each animal will carry papers issued by the CanadianCharolais Association. A certificate of registry dulytransferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animalafter payment has been made.

Liabilities:All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller,facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal orotherwise, for any accidents that occur.
